Where Did it Go?

Christmas came and went very quickly!

We managed to take two weeks off over the Christmas break, and Steve had a great birthday on New Years day – we even managed to spread the celebrations out a little with a family meal out on the following Monday. One of his presents from the boys was a ‘Ferrari experience’ – the chance to drive a fast car around in circles (Sorry – I’m not very technical on these things – typical girl!) He’ll be doing this when the weather improves – so the celebrations will carry on a little further.

Last week was an assembly week, mixed with a lot of preparation for updating various safeguarding policies and planning training sessions. The assemblies went very well – we were changing water in to wine (Not personally you understand!) This really got the children’s attention and they listened to everything, probably incensed by the idea of going to a party where they run out of lemonade, thus making it easy to drive home the point of a loving and caring Jesus.

I mentioned in the last update that there were more hospital tests for me (Kay). Not much to report there, other than I have another appointment coming up next week. I’ll report when there is something to report. Meanwhile I’m threatening to decorate the crutches to make them look more ‘interesting’ – grey is just so boring!

Do check out the diary page to see what we’re up to in the next few weeks.
