half way through our sabbatical
Yes – it has been quiet on the blog, hasn’t it!
We have been on a much needed sabbatical and having set ourselves some small tasks – we’ve actually ended up resting and reading! (And making Christmas cards!)
We come out of the break to do the Christmas eve service at our church and then go back to our break until 3rd Jan. We then go into a very busy New Year. (We’ll update the diary soon!)
Tuesday was Kay’s Birthday, and we went to stay with some good friends in Hassocks, had a celebratory meal, and then another one on the Wednesday as the trustess and volunteers from Dalesdown met together for a Christmas lunch. It took a very long time to get home, but now we are looking forward to a short break in Filey, with our usual house sitters looking after the house and the phone.
We may put some photos on the blog to prove we know how to rest……….!
